Hi Mélodie,

Installed and running on a Dell Inspiron 8600 Laptop.  No problems noted at this time.  As usual, you've done a great job here.  PCLinuxOS OpenBox gives new life to this laptop.

Hi,

I changed the burner. I am not sure the choice is good. I tried it and could not find how to burn a disk image with Graveman. I ended using wodim in the console.

What do you think ? Shouldn't I reinstall Gnomebaker for this purpose ?

Hi Melodie,
I too can't find an easy way to burn ISO images with Graveman.  I like xfburn a lot and use it many times it's quite simple to use and light wieght on the system but the down side is it has thunar and some other xfce dependencies , but is a very nice cd/dvd burning applications.
gnomebaker is not my favorite.  but you may have no other choice.
Again Thank You for the work your doing.

Hi,

Gnomebaker has a gui easy to use. I don't wish to add many depends of course, for another burner. I would agree to try one or two more, based on the idea to keep a low amount of depends and have a gui easy to use.

I prefer wodim in console. ;)

(But I burn less possible, and never else than iso disk images... for other people I suppose the burner should be able to do all : datas and isos, CD's and DVD's and Gnomebaker provides it all).

Regards,
Mélodie

Hi,
You are right, the gui is very nice. I just installed it to my personal system. I'll give it a try in the install where I do the version for publishing.

Thanks for the information,
Mélodie

PS: the "-x" option will have to be added to the openbox-menu line in the menu.xml configuration file, in order to have xfce apps shown in the menu. (See openbox-menu --help for information about the options).

I am not sure it will appear in the Lxpanel menu. Maybe would it be better to comment out the "ShownOnlyIn" in the xfburn.desktop file, under /usr/share/applications ?

Please let me know how it goes (I use tint2 as a panel, and can't check right now).

Great ! This is a powerful machine !

The actual 11.11 is an update, with little enhancements, not an official one and may be reviewed... if you find anything which could be improved, your feedback will be welcome.

Shows up fine . But haven't had time to play with it much.

Very good. Thank you !

Hi Mélodie,

I just brunt an OpenBox CD with Graveman, however, I did have to manually change the device settings under preferences in order for it to work.

I tried in vbox the new openbox, it seems very good lots of useful apps squeezed in, just a suggestion maybe a couple of token small games?
