I'm trying to run the LiveCD and have ran into trouble right from the start. This problem happens both on the Full and the Full Monty editions.
I am trying to run/install on a White Macbook7,1 (mid2010 model). I've partitioned the drive to dual boot using Boot Camp and am using rEFIt. I know this works since Kubuntu installs and runs just fine - everything, EVERYTHING, was recognized and worked brilliantly! I used Kubuntu for a week before deciding I wanted to switch to my favorite distro, PCLOS!!!
This is where I get to:
Please wait: detecting USB devices.
Please wait: detecting USB mass-storage devices. [ OK ]
[DONE]
Error: No suitable media for the live CD content found.
Workaround: Copy the content of the live CD from your boot device to an IDE/Sata disk.
Dropping you to a limited shell.
Everything from [DONE] on is in red. Oddly, if it's in graphic mode the progress bar continues on till completion like nothing is wrong but just hangs there at the end.
I assumed it was having issues with my Sata drives so I tried Sata_probe but had no joy. I have also confirmed these are good burns.
Any help would be appreciated.
Here are the full specs of the Macbook should that help:
