Open VPN on PCLinuxOS
« on: November 04, 2011, 11:34:17 AM »
I have recently installed PCLinuxOS 2011 x86_64 on a laptop.  I want to configure an OpenVPN client to connect to a remote server on which OpenVPN server is running.

When I try using PCC it attempts to install OpenVPN but aborts as it can't find it.

I tried using the Synaptic Package Manager but it does not appear in the list of available packages.

Does anyone know where I can locate the OpenVPN package and how to install it.

Thanks in advance.

64 bit PCLOS is as yet in the building and testing phase. It has not been released. The repository is not fully populated.

I suggest you use the 32 bit release so that you have access to a full repository.

64bit PCLinuxOS is discussed here:

Not on the forum.

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who donates. You keep the servers running.
