Advanced MySQL tutorial

Hi All,

I'm searching for suggestions about some MySQL tutorial, on line courses, books and advanced info in general.
Particularly in interested about C API, use of MySQL with Apache, database administration tasks.
Of course internet is plenty of resource, I would say too much, my difficult is about to identify some good and advanced tutorial.

Thanks in advance. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Following this thread.... I already used MySQL during programming several times, but that was "learn-during-practice"... 
We've had SQL at school last year (focused on PostgreSQL), with a book that focused both on MySQL and MSSQL (if I can remember correctly)...
If you're interested in that book (it also discuss API, etc...) - I'll lookup the ISBN

OK, false alert....
I got the book upstairs - and it's in Dutch   
(always the same, half of my study books are in English, other half in Dutch.... -- never can remember which books are in English)...
But I'll look through the info of that year, if the teachers has suggested another book (I only can say that this book is not a translation from English)...

But the author has also written books in English about SQL and/or MySQL:

Title: "Het SQL Leerboek" (~ The SQL guidebook?)
ISBN: 90 395 2302 9
example site: http://www.comcol.nl/detail/57894.htm (this is the book I read, and it was very clear -- part IV was about programming with SQL: embedded SQL, transactions, multi-user, ODBC, ....)

I hope that the books in English are as good as the ones in Dutch -- then it's a good choice....

Maybe I'll send also some slides, if they're in English  (via pm)

Thank you, I think I will leave this as a further steep, right now I need to start from something a little more ... didactic... 
I remember that I saw a documentation section on mysql.com website a few years ago... don't seem I can find it right now that mysql is in Oracle hands.
