Wifi - Connection failed error in a previously working setup
« on: October 26, 2011, 12:03:55 PM »
I had my HP Mini netbook with PCLinuxOS KDE and Ralink Corp RT3090 Wifi chip working fine.

Then I bought a Nokia E6-00 that had JoikuSpot application that allows me to convert the phone into a wifi hotspot. The password it allows is different from that of the one I use for my home wifi. I use the mobile hotspot at work where I dont have other internet access.

Initially I had trouble getting the mobile hotspot connected. So I went into PCC > Network & Internet > Remove a connection, then created a new one and things seemed to work fine.

But now I am unable to remove the old connection and not able to connect too.

How do I go about diagnosing/correcting this? Also where is the configuration file dealing with network connections?

Packaging well will cure headaches of many :) But learning to package will cause headaches in many :(
