All excellent suggestions.
CS5 rated gold in WineHW
This is very informative stuff. I only read part of it but is seems that a lot is possible with Wine.
if wine is not enough virtualbox should be what you need
That is an excellent suggestion . I might give it a try.

+1. If you are able to do a Windows install using Virtualbox, that will work very well.
You will not find any kind of Linux equivalent for Adobe CS.
Well here is the gist of it. The answer to the question at hand. No equivalents for all of it. Thank you.
Are there any equivalent PCLOS programs or Linux in general equivalents to the programs offered in Adobe CS5 Master Collection?
I stopped looking for equivalents a long time ago. A combination of several applications may provide for whatever you need, none of them emulate CS5 to any extent - none of them need to.
Try stating your needs rather than looking for a carbon copy that most probably does not exist. A combination of KRita, GIMP and Digikam will certainly serve any photographic need you might have but CS5 is much more than that and I'm not well versed in its other applications.
Thank you as well for confirming no total equivalents. Photographic wise I did know of those you mention but of course CS5 Master collection is so much more.
I think I did state my needs in asking for the equivalents as I will use most of what is available in CS5 MC.
I just wanted to find out if there were equivalent programs I could use in PCLOS. I have a new 64Bit laptop that I want to install PCLOS 64bit on. I also wanted to use it for the things I do with CS5MC. I wanted to try and not have to use windows in a dual boot with it. Hence the question of this thread. I am going to try wine with a couple of programs and see how it goes. If not I will just run the CS5 in Windows and do everything else in PCLOS.
I guess this is solved. I will leave it a little longer to see if there are any interesting responses then I will mark it solved.
Thank you all for taking the time to answer me. I can always count on this forum for helpful information.
