How to clean up unused icons on desktop?
« on: October 12, 2011, 08:43:30 PM »
I am using the XFCE Desktop mini version.

After the install was completed, I noticed that on the desktop, there are three icons, Home, File System, Trash.  How do I remove these icons from the desktop?  I have tried right clicking, but there is no delete option.

Thank you

Settings Manager>Settings>Desktop>Icons>Default Icons> then remove checks from the icons you no longer require on the desktop!

Fastest way:

Rightclick on the desktop and then choose Desktop Settings from that menu, go to Icons and uncheck the icons.

It rocks, it's awesome, cool and makes you drool.....PcLinuxOs, you rule!
