how to change from wireless as default to wired ?
« on: October 10, 2011, 01:20:52 PM »
I've gone back to connecting my PC via ethernet cable, having been using wireless

Unfortunately, I cant get online as both wireless and ethernet connections seem to be coming on at the same time.

If I manually switch the wireless to disconnect, I'm online fine

How can I make a wired (etho1) become the default  and switch off the automatic wireless switch on?

Thanks

You should be able to remove your Wireless connection by going to:

PCC (Configure Your Computer)  Network & Internet > Remove Connection

Choose the Wireless one and remove - that should do it.

If for some reason the ethernet doesn't connect you could try removing it and then setup a new connection.

Hope that helps a little.
