[SOLVED] Firfox checking addons.
« on: September 30, 2011, 07:52:57 PM »
Since I updated my system with firefox 7, each time it starts it check for updated addons.  I have it unchecked in my preferences.

I do not keep the browser open all the time and each time I start it it checks the addon's which is darn annoying. I have also noticed that this is only happening on my Laptop Which as updated yesterday. Anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent Firefox from check each time it is started?

Thanks

You're probably behind and need Firefox 7.0.1 now.

Geeze, I just got Firefox 7 installed and there is already another update for it.  I did as Tex suggested and it seems to have fixed the issue as far as I can tell. So I am marking this as solved.
