After installation of the kernel 2.6.38.4

Hi tinosezc - can you please clarify that you mean kernel 2.6.38.4 or do you mean 2.6.37.4 or 2.6.38.8

Apart from that you've given people very little to go on.

Is this a new/old install? Was the original kernel working - are you fully updated.

What hardware do you have.

What error messages are being shown.

For people to help they need more information so please help others help you.

My installation is an old one, say march 2010, fully updated.

kernel is "2.6.38.4-pclos1.pae.bfs"

hw : 4Gb, i5, mouse-kb usb.

No error messages displayed but under konqueror mouse really strange and difficul to control

Have you just installed this kernel? If so, was the original kernel working okay?  If so, mebbe just switch back to it?

Had you updated/installed anything else when this happened?

Alternatively you could try a later (or earlier) kernel to see if that helps. The joy of different kernels is you can switch between them (but please only install one, reboot and test it out before installing another)

Is it only Konqueror where the mouse causes problems or elsewhere?
