Open Thunar without sidepane
« on: September 27, 2011, 07:02:35 AM »
Just another query - is there an appropriate command for terminal to open Thunar without the side pane.  I know it can be set on the fly, but under normal circumstances I want Thunar to display the side pane.  If I can open it without the side pane in terminal, will that then reset the default in thunarrc?

To explain the situation, I have pytyle installed which gives window tiling.  I have done a simple script that allows two instances of Thunar to launch simultaneously, thus giving a very neat two panel look.  I would like to get rid of at least one side pane in the process.

I have done a lot experimenting - even found myself trawling through http://thunar.sourcearchive.com/, but alas, could not cobble together something that works.

Any ideas gratefully received.
