glad you solved,I misread: the old rpm is still available here:
please download the rpm, move it to a USB stick, reboot in linux and move it to some directory, say /tmp
open a terminal and type the following commands:
rpm -e dkms-broadcom-wl
rpm -ivh /tmp/dkms-broadcom-wl-184.108.40.206-1pclos2010.i586.rpm
