I stumbled upon a nifty app called
Hamsi Manager 0.9.73 and noted that we did not have it on our x86_64 repository. I thought I'd create a 64-bit package for it, which I managed to accomplish considering my limited knowledge in specfiles. I even managed to get a menu entry and a .desktop with their own PNG!

Anyway, I thought I'd share it with the community as a test package -
Download HamsiManager-0.9.73-1_archie_2011.x86_64.rpm. Installation is pretty straight-forward - as root,
rpm -Uvh HamsiManager-0.9.73-1_archie_2011.src.rpm. Note that you need to have a couple of python requires already installed namely,
python,
python-kde4,
python-qt4,
python-eyed3,
python-mysql and
python-musicbrainz2.
The app will be accessible at Sound > Hamsi Manager. Why in Sound? Well, it is basically an organizer for your music files and library. I've been testing it out and Actions that I thought were bugs actually needed a bit of rethinking and so far, so good.

What I wanted is for anyone interested to test of the package and post your feedback.
Thank you for reading and regards.
