<Fixed> Opera: Can't Log In at Some Sites
« on: September 15, 2011, 05:31:18 PM »
Really strange at MyOpera, PCLOS, and Welssfargo I can't log in using Opers but other sites I can log in to. It's how it doesn't work that puzzles me the most. I fill in the user name and password but when I click "log in" or use the enter key nothing happens. java script and cookies enabled and I did clear all cookies.

I asked at the Myopera forum but no answer so far. New install on new computer and after two days of tweaking I hate to have to delete my dot file and Opera and start over but if I'm going to have to better now then after even more tweaking. Did try just a reinstall but it didn't help.

Probably a bit out range for this site but I figured maybe someone here who understood PW authentication could tell me if it is ierhaps different scripts is why some sites work and some don't. Maybe that could give me a clue how to fix this.

Hello Ray2047. Just logged into My Opera successfully using Opera. I used to have a problem with Paypal, but that also works fine now. I know there are some sites that don't play well with Opera, but Opera wouldn't be one of them.

I should have added this problem is only related to this install of Opera on this computer. No problem on my other computer.

Just gave up, deleted the "dot" file and reinstalled Opera. Now I can sign in.

the dot as in the opera hidden config folder?

ok, sorry we didn't suggested this sooner but we tend to go one step at a time

when i post multiple steps, more than half of them are ignored  :-\
