netbook wont hibernate corectly

OK I have a net book that is posesed

it either wont hibernate at all...get locked up while trying to suspend

or it hibernates but every time it comes back instantly hibernates on boot every time..

any ideas?

Ok feel like a dumb ass

turns out it was executing all the times I told it to hibernate...

Is there a way to tell it to force hibernate and lock they system while it do it so I can not tell it to do it more than one time if it is being way slow?
