Can I autostart applications minimised?
« on: September 12, 2011, 03:36:33 PM »
I would like to have my old laptop start both smb4k and the gnome battery monitor as minimised on logging on. Is this possible? On my main system with KDE smb4k will start minimised if it is already running on shutdown and I dnt have to put it in the start list. Is something like this possible in LXDE?

You can add the .desktop files for them to /home/<you>/.config/autostart. They are in /usr/share/applications.
If you logged out/shut down with them open and minimized, log in to "previous session."
