This is a very long shot but I have a HiTi 640ps printer (its a small dye-sub printer producing 6inx4in prints) and was wondering if anyone here has this or any other HiTi printer working under Linux? I have their driver installed under CUPS and although the PPD checks out OK it will not print to the printer but insists on printing to a PDF file. I dont think these are made any more and support if any from HiTi is thin on the ground, I have emailed them but no response yet.
Just wondering if anyone here has one which they got to work?
