(Solved) Fonts?
«

Hi,
I don't think I have enough fonts. If I download some, do I just click on them and they will install or do I copy them somewhere? O' BTW, can I just download them or do I look for them in Synaptic? -Thanks, John

There are two ways you can install fonts on your system - system-wide or personal.
I am not sure on LXDE, and certainly Neal will come to your rescue but on KDE I use the KDE SystemSettings.
I think you can just drop the TTFs to your /home/<user>/.fonts or /usr/share/fonts folder. Those folders are the locations of your usable fonts. The first folder is for personal use and the second is for system-wide.
Regards.

Look for fonts in Synaptic first.

There are lots of fonts in the repositories. If there are some custom ones you want to use, you can import them in PCC. Open PCLinuxOS Control Center, then go to System > Manage, add and remove fonts.
