I simply responded to what was said to me. I did not intend any offense. I suppose in future I should just ignore insults aimed at me.

Is that really how you see it?

I can't believe this has gone 12 pages.

There are many different personalities on this forum.  This means, that we all are human... including our mods and admins.

I think, Neal, OP, AS, and the rest are great people for doing their job.  Considering their "job" is gratis.

I certainly don't want their job.  I been known most of my life to have a short fuse, and saying what I think.  Only in the last decade or so have I eased off.

I've PM'd OP, Neal, and AS... and more.  PM'd OP once and wanted my account gone, because I was so pissed off.  But things were resolved, and life went on.

I was on a board-of-directors of a non-charitable organisation that had three organisations under it.  I was a board/congregational chairman for three terms.  Why three terms... considering my attitude..?  Because I got things done..!

What I'm trying to say is this...  There are people here from all walks of life.  We need to quit trying to figure out what someone might of meant when they said something, and just take it for what they actually said.

We can't keep on dwelling on the past... it will consume you/I/us.

any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

Haha, I had a similar experience when KDE4 was being introduced! Tempers were flaring, and I nearly broke my mouse hitting the "delete account" button! But good ol' O-P got me back on track  ;)

You're absolutely right, we've got people from all walks of life, and very different mentalities/countries. Toes are going to be stepped on, we just have to find a way to resolve this kind of stuff without any lingering effects.

I feel extremely lucky to have found PCLOS and this community, and I'm positive we'll all get back on track  ;)

This has gone as far as it needs to go... :)

tschommer said it well.  "Toes are going to be stepped on, we just have to find a way to resolve this kind of stuff without any lingering effects".

Some mod or admin, needs to lock & end this thread...   OP..?

I PM'd the OP...
