Recommendations for partitioning
« on: August 20, 2011, 06:24:14 AM »
I posted here http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,94773.msg798145.html#msg798145 about the upcoming 64-bit system and changes to packaging. I do intend to start packaging but I am waiting for the 64-bit system to be ready. Once it is I will do a complete fresh install. I, luckily, will not have to touch any /home data to do so but I know that it is recommended that minime be used for packaging. What I would like to do is set up two partitions to enable a development system and a regular system.

What size should the partition be for development purposes? Are any of you aware of any issues that would be created by my doing this? Thanks.
