We have the HP Officejet 6500 All in One which is very similar.  Recent updates in linux HP drivers has made printing quality very good.  All functions work nicely on my set up.  We like it  :)

Sweet. So you didn't have to install any special (and by that i mean proprietary cd stuff) software to set it up on your wireless network or to scan/print etc?

Thanks!

*Addendum*: Does it also allow draft mode? I could never get that working with my canon pixma MP480 and it just ate through ink.

Be sure that libsane-hpaio1 package and xsane are installed from Synaptic as well as hplip and task-printing-hp.  All my functions were easily setup with packages available in the repositories.  I can not speak for "draft mode" as I havn't required it.

There was a recent issue with HP drivers causing color anomolies but all has been resolved with latest updates :)  For the most part HP printers have held good reputation for open source driver support.
