Did you adjust your monitor, Rudge? You know. The buttons on the monitor. Adjust the vertical upwards a bit. I had to adjust mine to the left last year to correct for a line. It has worked right since.

My input source is "DVI-D" so I got no adjustments.

Look, it's like 1 row of pixels across the top (this row shows the wallpaper. I can tell because it echoes the colors. Also, if I change to just "show solid color", that row changes to the selected color.) and then 2 pixel rows of black line. So It's really hard to even notice.

I think I am going to just ignore it.  :P :P

Don't know what it is, wish I did but the problem is so tiny. It's not worth any research, especially if no one else is having the problem.

I think I will mark this thread as (Problem Ignored) LOL

Come on Rudge, are you an idiot? Yes Yes apparently I am.

Guess what the 1 row of pixels actually is? It's a reflection off of the very top part of my monitor. That's why it shows the wallpaper color.

The black line is just the end of where the desktop stops.

You guys have all helped out and I feel so bad now that I realize it was just me being an idiot all along. The optical illusion is quite convincing. No wonder I could not get a screen shot of it.  :P

I apologize to all that spent time on this. Thanks.

I feel like an idiot for sure. I figured it out by placing a piece of paper perpendicular to the screen and totally up at the top against the monitor. The reflection became obvious at that point.  :P
