Did you adjust your monitor, Rudge? You know. The buttons on the monitor. Adjust the vertical upwards a bit. I had to adjust mine to the left last year to correct for a line. It has worked right since.
My input source is "DVI-D" so I got no adjustments.
Look, it's like 1 row of pixels across the top (
this row shows the wallpaper. I can tell because it echoes the colors. Also, if I change to just "show solid color", that row changes to the selected color.) and then 2 pixel rows of black line. So It's really hard to even notice.
I think I am going to just ignore it.
Don't know what it is, wish I did but the problem is so tiny. It's not worth any research, especially if no one else is having the problem.
