[Solved] Create Launcher is not working.

The Launcher command to create Icons for the desktop is not working.  The window to enter the information opens and after filling in the program name and path, when the create button is clicked a second window opens called Choose Filename with the user directory in it.  Needless to say, I can't creat a desktop Icon.  Is Create Launcher broken?

when the second window opens, select the desktop from the left hand pane, then enter the filename as "program.desktop."  Make sure to use the .desktop extension.  You will then see the icon created. 

It's an odd change from 4.6.  I'll give you that.

I tried it and it worked!  I really is strange that it has been changed that way.  I went to the previous version of Xfce on the live CD and even with that it worked by just clicking on the create button.  I had icons on the live CD desktop.  More than a few things have been changed on Phoenix.  Upgrading has taken us a step back more or less.  Thanks for the help!!!

Glad I could help!  Keep in mind these are XFCE (4.6 to 4.8) changes though, not Phoenix changes.
