[Solved] Mplayer error
« on: August 10, 2011, 06:51:30 PM »
I just updated Mplayer and now I get a error "skin 'Default' not found" and it won't start. Anybody else getting this error?

It's looking in the wrong place, but easily fixed. In your file browser, navigate to /usr/share/mplayer and, as root, create a link named skins pointing to the directory Skin.

Hmm, just noticed the same thing 30 minutes ago.

Fixed here too.

Thanks

edit:

Maybe modifying your post, saying " as root " will save someone 1 or 2 seconds. ;D ;D ;D

You're right, I should have done that for new users with the same problem.  I was addressing Linuzoid, personally, whereas I should have been addressing the problem, with both experienced and inexperienced users in mind. Thanks for reminding me.  ;D
