(Solved) Lost logout button on my panel.
« on: August 07, 2011, 05:50:05 PM »
I seem to have lost my logout button on my panel. I went through the menu items and don't see it to add it back.
I'm sure I'm missing something but I don't know what. I know I can just right click the desktop for the same thing but I would appreciate getting my button back.

 Thank you in advance.

Menu > More Applications > Configuration > Configure Your LXDesktop >>> click the Refresh Panel icon.

If that fails, open PCManFM > click View > click Show hidden files > open .config > look for the lxpanel folder > right click it and choose Rename > name it lxpanel.bak >>> click View > click Show hidden files to remove the tick mark > close PCManFM > logout > login.

Renaming and logging out did the trick.
Thank you very much Neal.
Now, to figure out how to mark this as solved.

 Thanks again,
         Joe
