« on: August 02, 2011, 06:38:41 PM »
Is there a program to burn an mp3 disk ?
Not mp3 files, but an actual mp3 disk !
Any help is appreciated.

If you want to burn mp3 music files to a disc to play in an mp3 disc player, just use k3b. Choose "new data project." If that is what you mean of course.

For KDE there is K3B.  For Gnome Brasero works great.  XFCE uses XFBurn.  I personally use Nero Linux, which works great, but it is not free.  All of these will allow you to drag/drop files onto a CD/DVD, and burn them.

a mp3 disc is a data disc, a normal data disc with the files stored on it

sometimes you can create a playlist for the files stored on the disc but few audio players will use that file, almost no audio system and no dvd player will use it

if what you want to do is convert the songs in a cd to mp3 and then create a disc with those mp3 that is a different process

if all you want to do is burn the mentioned files be sure to use a good cd-r and don't leave the session open

brasero and k3b are good options to burn those files(brasero is better atm)
