LXDE Digital Clock formats
« on: July 26, 2011, 10:23:04 AM »
Greetings, fellow fiddlers.

I don't care for the 'standard-issue' clock format on most LXDE distros.
It's easy to change if you right-click the display then click the 'Setting tab.
If you want to make some changes, here is an incomplete list of the symbols:

http://tcl.activestate.com/man/tcl8.3/TclCmd/clock.htm#M7

My favorites are not on that list.  I like %l:%M%P.  Thats small 'ell' , cap 'em' and cap 'pea'.
This gets rid of the ugly preceding '0' on hours 1 to 9, does away with ':seconds'
and uses am & pm rather than AM & PM.
