Switching users

Is there a quick way to switch between logged on users in LXDE as there was in KDE 3.5 when I used it?  (Something like <CTRL+F7> - I forget the exact keying.0
How does one become a hero?  By asking a lot of dumb questions apparently! I have three computers of various ages, the most powerful is a Dell Netbook 10v; each has 2 or 3 versions of PCLOS of various vintages.  Location, St John's, Newfoundland.

There is a "Switch User" button on the logout menu.

However! This does lock the current session on tty8.  You can switch between them using Ctl-Alt-F8 and Ctl-Alt-F9 but have to re-enter the password.

Another way is via the command gdm-control --switch-user which acts immediately and doesn't lock the current session.  Again, use Ctl-Alt-F8/9/10/11/... to switch between active sessions.

I use this latter method very frequently.  There is an issue with the session backgrounds getting blitted if one continually swaps back and forth (which I've never raised because it's IMO in the "who cares" region).

Thanks Ted, it was the <Crl+Alt+Fx> that I was looking for and that gdm-control command is useful too.

(Actually on my netbook it's <Crl+Alt+Fn+Fx> - the four key combination is a bit awkward, and first user is tty7.)
