Can't drag'n-drop files to trash
« on: July 25, 2011, 10:39:31 AM »
Having installed LXDE 2011.6 and updated it, I try to drag an icon on the desktop to trash but it fails.

Creating an empty file on the desktop - dragging it to the trash fails with the message: <filename here>: Error moving file: Not a directory
It also says the operation is finished, but the file is still there. Right-clicking on the icon deletes the file.

Apart from that this DE looks absolutely great!

cheers,
MBantz

To send a file, icon or whatever to the trash, right click it and choose Delete. Drag 'n drop is not supported for the trash function, except when restoring a file from the trash.

If you will restore from it with drag'nDrop, pcman will crash. Use right click menu (wiederherstellen) restore.

Before I posted that, I did check it. PCManFM did not crash when I restored a file. ??? Maybe I was lucky? ???
