I'm getting an Error message:
Failed to execute child process "gnome-mount" (No such file or directory) when trying to mount a USB drive, CD, or any form of Drive other than my main System Drive.
I just completed a total Hard Drive Format, and subsequent installation of PCLinuxOS MiniMe 2011.06, and PCLinuxOS LXDE 2011.06 under guidance from old-polack, after having made a real mess of my PCLinuxOS installations. That "mess" was resolved .
It was a complex week long process, and except for the error I'm getting trying to mount "any" drive, whilst logged in to LXDE, all else seems good with the System.
I'd post further info, but an overview is best at this time I feel. Plus reading from the last page linked to below is probably best, for your peace of mind
I can mount any drive while logged in to KDE. The Setup is simply selecting KDE, or, LXDE through the Session link menu at the login screen.
*Reading from the linked post below probably explains best what steps we took to finish up the procedure, so all is clear.

menu.lst,
fstab, plus Installing
task-lxde through Synaptic.
I've never setup a System like this, so maybe this is normal for such a setup:
Failed to execute child process "gnome-mount" (No such file or directory)I guess not though, as it obviously is stating there's an error, plus not being able to access my 500 GB External Hard Drive in LXDE is a real problem.
Hoping this is a minor glich somewhere that can be easily corrected, obviously

Thanks for reading.
Any ideas about this problem greatly appreciated.
