Did you remember to select US Keyboard during your installation? XFCE defaults to UK Keyboard so you have to change it at the keyboard selection screen.

Hmmmm......dunno................I will go reload it and see.  ;D  That is weird, the first time I loaded it, the keyboard worked but the desktop was weird. No app dock (panel?) and just 4 icons on the desktop and they didn't work. So I reloaded it and started over. Well, what the hay, I will do it again for fun. Thanks for the help.

Nope......tried it two more times.   Doing some googling, XFCE has problems with the Mac Keyboards. I was able to make it into the XFconf program and tried all the Apple/Mac keyboards and a few others, no dice. Not sure what else to do but to reinstall LXDE and just bug everyone until I get it tweaked and set up.  ;D Let me know what you think. -John

Big thanks to Texstar and As for all the help. XFCE did't work on my Mac so I went back to LXDE. If I ever get a normal laptop, I'm going to load up XFCE in a hurry!

On a good note, I used what I learned here and I can now load Linux on a Mac with no problems. I just can't stress how difficult it is to load Linux on a Mac. I see Mac users all the time on the net looking for help. Thanks for the support guys.
