Hi Leiche,

From the speed point of view, in the south of France I often find other mirrors which are faster, so if once a while I happen to want to download a big application, I prefer seeking a fast mirror and make use of it, even if after I revert back to PASS, for normal current use (general updates for instance). But this is my case, and maybe the users less advanced would need such an option...

It seems to work fine for me. I got this one:

as here it's for now the fastest, and this one:
http://ftp.nl.freebsd.org/pub/os/Linux/distr/texstar/megagames/apt/

for megagames, and the PASS can be seen in Synaptic just after, as third choice. So unless you want to add an option whether using or not megagames, I didn't find anything to change otherwise.

Got an error for the megagame repos. This one:

seems correct.

This one:

http://ftp.nl.freebsd.org/pub/os/Linux/distr/texstar/megagames/apt/

produces an error (Is not available anymore blabla... ) and when I go there with the web browser, the message is "forbbiden".

All worked well and fast, I had the choice for the fastest repos (but don't pick ibiblio !!!) and the choice whether or not to enable megagames repos and the choice to keep or not the PASS server. I don't remember if apt-sources-update told me "do you want to overwrite the old sources.list" and "I will keep a backup of the old one... "

Have you kept theses 2 messages ?

It has opened Synaptic, and the Categories > repositories section window has been opened.
