I'm not sure at all what the problem is as my Toshiba Satellite suspends just fine.  If suspension is determined by the desktop, and not hardware, then I would look on any bug reports Enlightenment has to offer.  Have you looked in the bios settings to see if there's anything there?

BTW, they are now backed by Samsung as well as LG.  Guess some manufacturers are very interested in E.

Seems the server is getting hit from many places at once.. So downloads are going to be a bit slow in spite of promises by comcast..

Yes, thanks, the Thinkpad X40 she uses suspends fine from system dialogue just not when lid is closed (something it does fine with other DEs) I'll look in bios settings as well.

I knew Samsung was backing development for interest in smart phones and tablets.  Didn't know about LG.  Generating public interest is all about adverts I'm afraid and I havn't even seen Nokia publicize its MeeGo phone.  It will be interesting to see what happens.

We need a light system, if you want to change some applications you can to make after installation

I hope you like my idea   .. I am testing Black Mystery and I think is a litle better than Bodhi Linux for old machines

Well , I have two problems:
1) E's version is too old, does not work well with the theme.
2) I have to update the theme, it looks horrible in white boxes, I have to change the color of the letters to those boxes.

I'll try to update the theme when you have some time.

@Linuxera el link the theme "Pasion" you pass this update, the theme looks good. (Only information)

Ah, so you like no applications at all?   

The nice thing about PCLinuxOS is it's repository.  You can add your favorite applications,and delete what you don't like.  Every single person has their favorite applications.  I choose applications that would not only keep the iso under 700 MB, but ones I know work well. 

Sorry my avatar isn't showing up.  It's on the server sitting in the back seat of my car in a parking lot in Ogallala, Nebraska.  I'll be heading back out tomorrow morning, but 1400 miles is enough for one driving stretch...  night night.
