[SOLVED]Strange language issue on PCLinuxos 2011.6 KDE

After a fresh installation of PCLinuxos I run Localization Manager to installl Swedish. All went well. After reboot my whole system was in Swedish. So far everything is good. When I reboot/restart/upstart again PclinuxOS Menu, panel applet, Dolphin, Konqueror. Digikam, Configure Your Desktop etc goes english. When open LibreOffice, VLC, Firefox/Chromium etc it is Swedish. When I use addlocale (Localization Manager) again to install Swedish after installation is finished and reboot my system is in Swedish. If close my laptop, or reboot/upstart etc it goes crazy again. I have tried installing Swedish several time with same result.  

I am new to PCLinuxOS (tried it ones 2010). Thanks!

just installed 2011.07 Mini, ran addlocale to add Swedish, and after several reboots all remains in Swedish as it should.

1) I assume the md5sum of the iso you used to install the system was ok? If not try the new KDEmini which has all the latest applications.
2) What did you install to the base KDE and especially what exactly did you do when you fixed the language issue?
3) Have you checked in your system settings (PCmenu -> Fler program -> Konfiguration -> Anpassa skrivbordet    Then in the section section click on Plats )  the Land tab should be on Sverige and the Language like this:

1. Honestly I didn´t check md5sum. I don´t have the iso-left. I used dvd-rw from my family. When I made PCLinuxos installation the iso image was removed. What is the difference between KDEmini and regulare one? The installation process of PCLinuxos was not that easy. If I make new installation how can I save my home-directory? Even when I picked last option (during installation) of partition making it was not that simple. One time I tried my swap-partition became boot partition.
2. My installed application: Unetbootin, KDE Partition Manager, Libreoffice, Teamviewer, Wine/Playonlinux, htop, Chemtool, Supertuxkart, Shutter, Simplescan, Chromium, Emesene , Amsn, Claws Mail, Skype, Google Earth, Google talk, Sopcast, Veetle, Asunder, Gespeaker, recordmydesktop, Openshot, Realplayer, Umplayer, WinFF, XBMC and YTD.

I never managed to fix the language issue. I reinstalled/installed swedish from addlocale. When I installed swedish from addlocale it reboot automatic. Then some more mouse click.    Every thing is okey. If close my computer now and start up or reboot then same problem.    The picture came up after every first reboot after installing swedish from addlocale (the automatic reboot it does).

It seems that Swedish is the language for most of your system, while all the KDE settings revert to English. This is most peculiar as pinoc's localization manager has worked perfectly for me. (I actually have one account with KDE in Swedish that was set up by the localization manager, and another one installed by me with KDE in English.)

Have you tried installing the KDE localization package kde4-l10n-sv with Synaptic?

yeah, very weird indeed, never heard about such a problem. As suggested by Bald Brick, please reinstall  kde4-l10n-sv with Synaptic, then open System Settings and ensure to have the correct Swedish settings as shown before in the image of my previous post. I somehow suspect that the fact that you do not have the Swedish language in the settings could be caused by using an old home-account which has some incompatibilities with the current KDE4? You said you made a fresh install but did you re-use a previous existing /home-partition? In addition, can you create a new user and check if this new user-account works ok? If so, then just copy your personal files into this new user-account and you are set.

I did that and it was already installed. So it is not that also. I am totally lost.
