Well i installed 2011 LXDE on my evil Dell 1526 work laptop today. This little devil has stumped most and brought many to their knees crying mommy. I am serious this is dells worst POS i have owned.
Well usb stick and a Pepsi, Live cd booted perfectly, worked fast, even got my wireless going right away. Well hmm , we will try the full install. Bam less than 10 mins, installed. Wireless right away, amazing. detected the garbage ATI built in graphics setup perfect. Network Minolta printer poof worked. I am stunned first time i got linux to work on the devils laptop. Just thought I pass that on. Really fantastic! Even got the PAE kernal to see the 4gig of ram.
Super Amazing, It must be the bacon.
