Found a another error about settings...
Days will not display as update setting,

It will set auto-check disabled, after i set hours of 0, and days of 1...

Let me first report what I tried, Leiche:

First of all wann you open Settings the previously choosed settings are not shown and the menu comes at a "virgin" state. Nevertheless the settings are remembered which is shown in "The next update is..." message.

But this works when I don't choose "0 hours".
I tried combinations 0day-4hours, 1d-4h and 30d-4h. All worked right, the settings were remembered though not shown at the Setting menu.

Wann I choose 0 hours settings are not remembered (may be are cleared), no check is done for updates and the icon of the upd-notifier stays with a question mark on it saying it is disabled.

Now I'll start it in Terminal.

1. Started after I've chosen 30 days and 4 hours (and exited after that).
Here in this session I chose 30days-0hours and after that exited notifier.

this is mess my brain, i will remove it, and set only hours.
Maximum 72h enough, or higher?

Usually I don't use update-notifier just helping now. Let others say. I update manually via Synaptic and the longest interval is about a week for me.

It seems "0 hours" override somehow the days and this way the script thinks zero time (e.g. manual) is chosen.

How else to search for updates, and display if any updates avalaible?

Installed Beta-2Leiche and choosing 1day-0hours and 40days-0hours doesn't throw that bug.

It checks for updates (no updates here for now) and rightly schedules the next day of check and rests in green status.
