Leave/Logout Widget not working SOLVED
« on: July 10, 2011, 05:05:19 PM »
Following some of the insightful suggestions, I finally figured out that (at least I think)
this problem was caused by a lack of available free space on my /home partition.
I cleaned it up and rebooted and the widget is working again.

Thanks for the suggestions. Walt.

Did it work again after reboot?

Does it work from the menu?
All that is is good. PCLinuxOS is.

Odd.

A workaround would be to install the plasma-applet-yasdp  (Yet Another Shutdown Plasmoid)

After install you will need to use Add Widgets from the panel and add the yasDP widget to your panel. It can be right clicked and from the settings option choose which icons you want displayed.

I think there is also a Widget named Lock/Logout already installed which can be got from Add Widgets

In this case, please create a new user and see if it works there.

If you haven't done a lot of tweaking on your desktop, you could also delete your .kde4 folder to set back the desktop to the defaults.

All that is is good. PCLinuxOS is.
