Desktop not full size
« on: July 01, 2011, 07:54:49 PM »
When I downloaded and installed the new LXDE then rebooted the desktop was centered within the laptop scree and not full size. Is there any way to fix this? I would really like to make this my primary distro on my laptop. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L455 64 bit with 640 gb HDD and 3 gb of RAM. Thank you for your time and consideration.

This may be related to the monitor hardware settings.

Seeing this couple of times on CRT and fixed by monitor's controls.

Hello HarleyRider1958,

Have you tried setting your screen resolution? Configure Your Computer (aka PCLinuxOS Control Center) > Hardware > Configure Video Card ...

It may also be worth checking LXDE's desktop configuration, wallpaper and set it to stretch/scale...
