[SOLVED] touchpad driver update = no touchpad
« on: June 29, 2011, 06:41:52 PM »
I updated 6-29 and saw there was an update to the touchpad driver after doing this and rebooting the touchpad no longer works ... I had to set up moving the mouse with the num pad  ... using a hp pavillion 9700  its been fine up till this update .. just noticed that scroll works (vertical) anywhere on the touchpad dont know if that means anything or not ... I've installed gsynaptics to attempt to setup the touchpad .. still no luck ... tried in synaptic to go back to the previous drive but can't ... any ideas??
