As a Linux hobbyist, I was able to see a Gnome3. But
it req'd grub2. Impressive, with a little bit of color
coordination changes.
If the Gnome people here at PCL can do that eventually
without grub2...
I take 7 backups a month, PCL stuff, and switch from
partition to partition sometimes. If Gnome3 requires,
in the future, a grub2 setup...
Well I guess I'll have to remember that. Only Gnome3
I could find used grub2. So, considering Gnome3 will
eventually come to PCL the grub vs. grub2 thing might
be a factor. I like Gnome2 anyway.
Have had no problems with grub, like 1-2-3 it's installed.
Grub2's a can of worms so far.
