Dell Notebook TouchPad Tap/Click Problem
« on: June 28, 2011, 08:04:04 AM »
Since the recent round of updates the touchpad mouse click and double click functions do not work. This is on 3 notebooks: a Latitude D820 and Inspiron 600M running Gnome ZenMini Desktop, and a Latitude D820 running Gnome Desktop.

The xorg.conf file did not change through the updates. The Control Center, Hardware, Mouse, Touchpad Tab, Enable mouse clicks with touchpad checkbox is checked. And has been toggled off and back on.

I'm not certain how far back the update was, as these systems are only updated every few weeks.

Any help would be appreciated.

John
