No, i dont know what the problem is, The first two commands i asked you were to get a better sense of your system and its set up. The last one was to check if the interface can scan for wireless networks. I asked for this one just in case there was a problem with the GUI.
you have a "wlan0" interface. This means the system has seen your wireless interface and a driver is loaded to handle it.
Not seeing any wireless networks could mean either there are non around or the driver/card combination is failing to scan for wireless networks around you.
You said you can see and connect when you are on a different linux system and hence the problem is on pclinuxos. Unfortunately, this kind of problems are easily solved only by updating the kernel.
When you say you have the newest kde pclinuxos, are you talking about the one that was released today or?
