USB launch on BIOS
« on: June 23, 2011, 01:45:43 PM »
I've made a live CD for Linux LXDE and ran it on my computer. It ran great. Then I made a live usb, I reformatted my 8g SansDisk and used the Linux LiveUSB creator. The problem is, when I try to run the computer from the USB (after changing the BIOS order) It won't start, three bars will load and then the computer just stops.

I started the computer and It had a dark blue bar followed by a light blue bar followed be a white bar that seemed to all be loading. However when they reached the end of the bar length, (and the white bar covered the other two bars) nothing would happen.

When you see the splash screen, with the bars, press the Esc key. You will then see a bunch of text messages detailing the progress of the boot process. If the process stops before completion, we need to know what the last 10 lines of text are, exactly.

A bit of a problem. The second time I tried it to do what you suggested all that showed up was the PcLinuxOs symbol, basically a big bull on over a light blue background. When I pressed Esc. it said
libpng error: read error
