Thanks Linuxera

Summer fairy for NOW on AMD Quad OK BUT--->>>

On Intel Quad ---->>>

This last half hour updated it THEN --->?>>
OOPS!!! install Gimp with many extras which gave a little glitch during download installations

Installed Image Magick with quite a few extras which STALLED/FROZE on Documents install. Had to cold shut down and on reboot --->>>

Now can NOT boot into either regular or "SAFE" mode- all we have is a metallic grey screen - "startx" gives the same result

Cheers for Years
Colin
SO NOW--->>>Back to the drawing board or "ENLIGHTENMENT" crystal ball

"Crystal Ball" gave a "nudge" to reboot again --->>>

This time went to E17 login NOT last session and we are back in the same desktop

Now just have to see where we are at with these graphic downloads and installs

Cheers for years

I would suppose that whatever your 'default' login is, is what is being loaded if you don't specify...

What is crystal ball?  You got me there.  LOL

Just an update, I want to thank all those who are downloading the e17 remasters that I've done.  Makes me feel like the time and effort are worth it.  No news is good news, and I continue to search daily for any new posts about problems, or even IM's I might receive in reference to any of the ISO's downloaded from my server.  As of today, July 7th, the server has dished out 25 GB's worth of ISOs which is approximately 50 ISO downloads..  Keep going and we'll win the world over this way!!

 ;D ;D

Ahhhhhh, well yes.. I have that 'Inner Intuition' and it seems to be functioning just dandy..  Let me predict that 'I'll be moving back down south in the next several months' just based on my intuition.

As far as crystal balls, I don't have any... LOL

He was unconscious in no time fwat... Really only took a few well placed flames... Anudder hit and I wouldn't have even needed a spit...

There is a hot chick that lives near some trees.
She gets really bored so she builds Live CDs.

With fairys and dragons and one a little obscene.
All built against Enlightenment E-17.

She works and she makes CD's with such fervor
Then she uploads them to her shiny new server.

I've checked some of her work and they are all well designed.
If you run her CD I think you'll be fine.

+1 awesome

that was the best part of my day today all day
