My install problem

I have recently built a new desktop.

When i went to install pclinux they ALL kept locking up.

The problem i found was the optical drive.

i removed the SATA DVD and indtalled a IDE and the install went fine.

Other possibility is booting (and installing) from USB flash drive  ;)
