Back to XFCE

Back to XFCE

I went away for a bit and tried KDE 4.6 for a while, some months. I did that cause a friend of me tells the QT libraries are very cool, bla bla, also the screenshots looked nice.
After this months trying KDE I was still feeling I was missing something, still I am not sure what it is, but I think I was missing speed and order.
XFCE is much faster, does all I want and is simple and ordered.

Like when searching for the right Linux distribution I switched many and always returned to PCLinuxOS, the same happened now, after trying many DE I came back to XFCE.

Or was it a case that there was so much extra stuff that you did not need or use and just got in the way?

IMO whichever DE or WM a member of this community runs on, we all have one thing in common ... the PCLinuxOS heart underneath the kernel and toolchain, etc.  And of course, the driving force for us all, U da MAn!
