[SOLVED] K3B burn not seeing media

KDE4 Fully updated TSS corp CD/DVDRW SH-S182M DVD Rom

Since a full update yesterday K3B will no longer burn to media.

Example. I want to burn a data DVD session to disc. I insert a blank DVD+R disc and K3B says a blank disc is inserted.
Ok so far..

I then add the files I want to burn and click burn. The burn dialog opens then I get an error mesage saying "Please insert a suitable media".

Sorry folks, looks like it was a hardware issue.

My trusty burner just gave it's last gasp and went bye bye..
