Need help testing package
« on: June 15, 2011, 05:54:52 PM »
Hi,

As I continue to reiterate that I am unable to use Dropbox because of my location, I have uploaded a package that I would like help in testing.

The package is DamnVid and it is a video downloader/converter written in python.

The RPM can be downloaded here.

I just want to add that this package (what I would consider my first real package) was referred to me by Melodie.

Thank you in advance for any comments and feedback.

The program runs, menu is in video, and it worked on the first file that I tried. I noticed that is a .bz2 file. Tex likes them to be unzipped and re-zipped as an .xz for better compression. The command to zip is 'tar -cJ'.
