Want to buy a laptop: Marvell Yukon and Atheros AR9285

I am planning to buy a new Laptop, Samsung P480 Pro, with following specs:

Core i5-560M 2.66GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GT330M 1024MB
Marvell Yukon 88E8059 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (10/100/1000MBit),
Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (bgn)2.1 + EDR Bluetooth

Comments with respect to PCLinuxOS compatibility or potential problems would be highly appreciated.

Hello:
You may want to consider going to the place of purchase and running a PCLinuxOS live CD.

If the store is local to you it shouldn't be a problem unless the store clerk is a bit hard headed and is afraid you will mess up his demo computer.

I just did this with a new Lenevo i3 from one of the big box stores.  I guess I was lucky because the clerk couldn't do enough to assist me.

That's what I tried last week. Unfortunately the dealer told me, that he can't open the original packaging from the manufacturer and I couldn't find any other dealer. So I was hoping anyone here in the forum, who either has the knowledge or has experience with a similar setup, could help me.
