Brother MFC-7840W all in one for PCLinuxOS Notebook

In the office we have a Brother al in one printer. it scans, faxes, prints.  I'd like to use the wireless scanning feature using my PCLinuxOS notebook.

Not sure how to set this up.  I can get it to print..not sure I'm using the specific model's driver.

Not sure about the w/l features but I have used several Brother MFP's and they all work fine with Brother drivers from their website.

You have to identify the type of driver based on the model then follow the directions for installation. AFAIK each function carries its own driver so you may need to d/l separate drivers for printing/scanning/wireless features.
